The DRC family of companies entered the rubber industry in 1976. Founded by Mr. Cevat Bezek initially as a reject tire trader, in the early 1980’s the company began specialty compounding rubber for tire manufacturers. DRC subsequently developed additional capacity to compound rubber for use in automotive (non-tire), construction, appliance, and agriculture industries. DRC quickly developed a reputation for quality service and state-of-the-art testing and grew to become one of the most important and well-known custom compound mixing facilities in Europe.

Last year DRC reached a capacity of 116 tons per day and for fiscal year 2008, the company expects to reach a capacity of 160 tons per day of custom rubber compounding. In 2002, DRC developed its own proprietary compound used in the production of custom tire patches. A separate molding facility was developed and in 2003, DRC entered the custom tire patch business through its subsidiary, OXI.

Presently, OXI produces 10 million high quality patches per year to be sold in local and international markets. OXI, as a service oriented manufacturing company, is dedicated to maintaining the highest quality and safety standards for its partners.
